Campaign Announcement

I announced my campaign on Front Porch Forum today! Here is the post, in case you missed it:

I am pleased to announce to Front Porch Forum readers from Cambridge and Waterville that I am running to represent you in the Vermont House of Representatives.

I'm a lifelong Waterville resident and a graduate of Lamoille Union High School and the University of Vermont. My work and studies have taken me to Western Canada for grizzly bear projects and to Beijing, China to study Mandarin, but I have decided to stay in my hometown because I love this community and the people in it. I hope that being your representative will allow me to continue to contribute to the district that has given me so much.

Our community is built around strong, local schools and strong, local businesses, and I'm running to protect both. I am committed to defending each town's ability to make its own decisions about its schools, and to improving internet access and public transportation so that young people can stay here and work here. A successful community cares for its people and cares for its land, so I'll be working to increase access to nutritious food and high quality health care, to fight for our farmers, and to protect our natural landscapes.

I look forward to meeting you at your doors in the coming months and telling you more about why I would be honored to have your vote on November 6th. If you would like to reach me or to find out more about my candidacy, you can call me at 802.730.0604, email me at, visit my campaign Facebook page at, or check out my website (going live very soon).

Thank you!
